At the beginning of the meeting, a "Little Yellow Man" blind box interactive session was set up at the entrance. Each guest randomly drew a "Little Yellow Man" keychain upon arrival. Through this activity, participants gradually learned about the group of children the foundation helps — children with end-stage liver disease who have high bilirubin levels, causing yellow skin and yellow eyes, and who urgently need liver transplants. These children are lovingly called "Little Yellow Men." This design made the originally abstract beneficiaries more tangible.
Next, a five‑anniversary themed video, *Walking with the Light*, was shown. The video followed the foundation's five‑year development, looking back at various moments and changes from different perspectives. Guests once again felt the meaning of this shared journey through the video.

After that, the meeting moved to the annual work report session. Chairperson Yang Jiru presented the 2025 work report to the attendees. The report systematically reviewed and highlighted the foundation's work over the past year, covering core project operations, annual data, and future plans. In 2025, the foundation’s overall ability to provide assistance steadily improved, and the full‑cycle support system continued to be enhanced. At the same time, the foundation expanded its external activities and public participation, allowing public welfare to happen and continue through more concrete and genuine connections. The meeting also mentioned that the foundation had recently completed the transition to the second Council and Supervisory Board. New and old members gathered at this meeting, adding a sense of continuity and handover to the review.

Professor Shen Conghuan, Board Member of Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation and Deputy Director of the Liver Transplant Center at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, gave an annual talk. He reported that in 2025, his team completed 217 liver transplant surgeries, maintaining a leading level in China. Medical quality and core indicators steadily improved. In the area of pediatric liver transplants, the team completed 40 surgeries that year, with the youngest patient only a few months old. As minimally invasive techniques advanced, the proportion of minimally invasive procedures in living donor liver surgeries exceeded 90%. This not only reduced trauma for donors but also improved surgical safety and recovery quality. During his talk, he shared real experiences of several children and their families, telling how they made choices and persisted in the face of illness and uncertainty, helping everyone present feel the resilience of life and the weight of love.

Special invited guests offering suggestions at the roundtable
Five years have passed. This is both a time to look back and a starting point to move forward again. The moments that have been recorded bear witness to the journey we have taken together and become the strength to keep going. Every child protected, every need responded to, and every piece of kindness from society gradually come together, becoming the light that supports this cause as it moves steadily forward.

In the future, Shanghai Yanhua Public Welfare Foundation will continue to take professionalism as its foundation and responsibility as its direction, steadily moving forward on the path of medical assistance and public welfare practice. It will keep improving the “full‑process care” assistance system and carry out warmer and deeper public welfare actions. It also looks forward to meeting more fellow travelers and, as we light each other’s way, bring this light to even farther places.
